Speaker Help Sheet

Hi, we warmly welcome you as a speaker at SGPO2024. Keep this document as this will have important information that you require as a speaker. Here are some information and FAQs that will help you as a speaker.

Event Schedule and Timing

Please note that all speakers must come near the stage wings (stage right) 30 minutes before their presentation to set the mics, go over the final presentation and have everything ready to rock on stage. 

Presentation Requirements and Setup

What format should my presentation be in?
  • Please note to avoid technical interference, we will run all presentations through Google Slides. Please be kind enough to send the link to the presentation.
  • The presentation will be downloaded on 20th Feb 2024 and no further modifications are accepted
Is technical support available for setting up my presentation?
  • Our team will be there to help with getting the presentation up and running for the day. Please note there will not be technical experts on the day to make presentation modifications
Interactive elements in the presentation?
  • We encourage audience engagement however we propose not to have heavy animations or content as that may lead to technical glitches which we want to avoid to ensure a smooth flow of presentations to you and the audience
  • IMPORTANT: During the presentation, please mention that the audience can meet you and speak to you or your team 1-1 at the networking session each day from 4pm -5pm

Audience Engagement

Event recorded or live-streamed?
  • The event is recorded but the recordings will only be available for our VIP guest passes
  • SMC may decide to use the recordings to be sold on a later date
  • The event is not live streamed or available online for live viewing
Will there be a Q&A session after my presentation?
  • We are planning on implementing a real-time digital Q&A session where the audience members can have ask their questions digitally. The speaker can read out selected questions from the audience and answer them.
  • We encourage you to prompt them to the networking session 4-5PM each day as it would give you a 1-1 interaction time with the individual
Brief about the networking session
  • The networking session is for 1 hour each day from 4PM – 5PM.
  • In line with the casual nature of the event, each speaker will be allocated a cocktail table in the networking session where the audience members can feel relaxed and have a casual conversation with you
Material at the networking session
  • The conference is aiming at sustainability hence we encourage all our speakers to have none or very little printed material.
  • IMPORTANT: Please be kind enough to let us know the material you are planning to bring for event and security clearance.

General FAQs

  • As the location is in the heart of the city, the venue doesn’t provide guaranteed parking spaces. Here are some options that you can consider.Click here
  • Yes the L3 Lounge area is exclusively for speakers. You can access this area through the lift in L1 Foyer or through the stairs
  • As this is a public event, we encourage you to have your personal items with you all the time. In the event you need to keep any item secured for a short period of time, you can speak to our crew about the same.
  • We will be attempting to have digital Q&A sessions during the conference where we can provide the questions and the details of the audience members for your records
  • However we encourage you to invite everyone to the networking session so that you may interact with them personally and have your CTA present there
  • We have invited our masterminds and PX members for a dinner on Thursday 22nd February 2024. You will receive details of the same separately. 
  • There will not be any other events or sessions planned after 5pm on each day
